What are Obstacle games?
Obstacle Games There's stuff in your way, ready to hardcore parkour around?
In obstacle games, you'll be faced with a lot of stuff that has nothing better to do than try to impede your progress. You're not going to give up, are you? In Paper Trampoline, you'll have a giant floating trampoline to help you overcome anything blocking your path. In this sketch-based world, the goal is to guide your paper stickman friend to the end of each level by placing the titular paper trampoline in strategic spots. You'll then fling our hero towards them and watch him boing his way to the chequered flag. That's if you get it right, of course. If you get that trajectory wrong, you'll see him become impaled on some nasty spikes. They say the path to true love isn't easy. You've got to be willing to put in the effort. That's certainly the case in Slime Love, where you have to help the adorable blob of goop reach their forever companion. To do so, you'll need to grab a key in each level and hop through the portal that opens up. Naturally, it's not that easy, as there are spikes everywhere you'll need to leap over. It's always spikes. Why are there so many spikes? And for a slightly different spin on an Obstacle Game, we have Light Caster. Rather than having to leap over obstacles (shock, no spikes here), you have to guide a light through artifacts to light up a beacon at the end. That means aiming the beam correctly so it bounces off some pretty crystals repeatedly until it lands in the right spot.
